New layout options for seminars and groupwork in MB1012, MB1019 and MB1020

The new MB1012, MB1019 and MB1020 are designed to offer many layout options for academics and students. There is no ‘correct’ layout – users are encouraged to rearrange the rooms to suit the activity of the moment. The new furniture – Node chairs and mobile whiteboards – minimises the time and effort required for transitions between layouts.

Below are some example layouts for MB1020 (37 seats). Similar layouts can be created easily in MB1012 (25 seats) and MB1019 (49 seats).

You can download the layouts as PowerPoint slides to include in your own presentations, and modify them to create your own layouts.

We would be very interested to learn about how you are using the new rooms for seminars and groupwork. Please let us know about your experiences via the comments form (below), or via @LincolnEstates on Twitter, or by emailing space@lincoln.ac.uk.
