As we approach the end of the 2012/13 academic year this Wednesday, our summer campus improvement programme continues apace.

In the week ending 28 July, our contractors put in a record-breaking 1,577 person-days on the Brayford Pool campus.

In the month of July as a whole, our contractors worked 4,391 person-days in total, through some extremely hot and stormy weather. Thanks guys – keep it up!

Library 1.5 (above right: seminar room UL111) and the Art, Architecture & Design extension are approaching completion, and all of our other summer projects are in progress.

We can’t wait to see students and staff enjoying all of the new facilities in 2013/14.
