The College of Arts and Estates & Commercial Facilities have upgraded the furniture in the AAD Building’s Atrium this month to provide more comfortable seating for building users. The new high-backed sofas are oriented to mitigate glare which has been a major issue for laptop and tablet users in the building. They also provide a degree of visual and acoustic privacy.
The displaced chairs, which are suitable for outdoor use as well as indoor use, have been moved upstairs to provide permanent outdoor seating on the AAD Building’s roof terrace.
